伍須海自然保護區Wuxu Sea is an important part of the national Gongga Mountain Scenic Area貢嘎山風景名勝區. Wuxu Sea Scenic Area is located in the north of Jiulong County九龍縣, 25 kilometers away from the county seat. The scenic area covers an area of 400km2. It has overlapping mountains and ravines. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. The annual average temperature is 4.9℃. The average altitude of the scenic spot is 3500m, the average lowest altitude is 1440m, and the highest altitude is 6010m. There are 40 scenic spots developed in the territory. Wuxu Seascape Area is mainly composed of mountain peaks, virgin forests, forest streams, tessellated meadows五花草甸, alpine meadows and lakes, exotic trees, various rare animals and plants, and unique Tibetan customs.

昌都On March 10th (2008), the Tibetans in Lhasa, Tibet were involved in the "Tibetan Anti-Riot Incident" (March 10, 1959)., The Chinese Communist Party’s People’s Liberation Army suppressed the anti-violent Tibetans. The Tibetans were seriously killed and injured. The Dalai Lama and tens of thousands of Tibetans were in exile).The Communist army and the police intervened strongly and detonated a large-scale protest on March 14. It also expanded to Qinghai, Gansu, and Sichuan. After the "Tibetan Anti-violence Day" in 1989, It is the largest demonstration in 20 years. Before that it only allowed few people to enter Tibet.
